The Truth

I am here to tell the truth about kangaroos. Red kangas are NOT endangered, but there are some kangaroo species that are endangered, like the Brush-Tailed Wallaby (left), and the Tasmanian forester kangaroo which is listed under the Endangered Species Act.

On average, kangaroos live in the wild for six to eight years.

Kangaroos live in varied habitats, from forests and woodland areas to grassy plains and savannas.Kangaroos are found in Australia and Tasmania,as well as on surrounding islands.

Kangaroos are great kickboxers! See the video link on the left for a video of kangaroos boxing.

Humans hunt kangaroos for their meat as well as their skin.

Come back soon for more info on kangaroos!
